Ms. Nguyen Tam Trang

Vice President-Human Resources, Unilever Vietnam

Ms. Trang has more than 15 years of HR managerial experiences in which 4 years with leading European pharmaceutical company and 11 years with one of the largest FMCG companies in the world. She’s holding both generalist and expertise skills in HR. Ms. Trang delivered major achievements including start-up professional HR function and teams including processes, procedures, taking initiatives for talent management which became best practice in the region, rolling out HR transformation initiatives , taking big-scale change management role, sharpening reward strategy that strongly linked with high performance culture, and more importantly many years playing a key role of HR strategic partnering role to build and deliver HR agenda that enables the business to deliver results thru great people.

After 4 years working as a HR Head of Sanofi-Synthelabo Vietnam, Ms. Trang joined Unilever Vietnam in 2002 as the HR Business Partner Manager-Customer Development. She had more than 2 years working as a Reward Expertise Manager-Thailand & Vietnam of Unilever SEAA from 2006 to 2009. In May 2009, she was promoted to HR Business Partner Director, in which she’s in charge of Brand Building, Customer Development, Food Solutions then Supply Chain/Manufacturing & Corporate Functions at Unilever Vietnam before getting the current role as Vice President – Human Resources for Unilever Vietnam in August 2013.

Ms. Trang holds Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Open University, HCMC in 1994 and MBA (Honor) from Assumption University, Thailand in 2002. Recently, she received “Vietnam’s 2013 Best Human Resource Business Partner of the Year ” by Tower Watson.
